Description
This course is designed to give the student a thorough knowledge of both Pentecostal and non-Pentecostal authors. Dr.Horton has given a skillfully perceived reconstruction of the history of the early church. In Acts the relationship between the coming of the Spirit at Pentecost and the disciples ‘baptism in the Holy Spirit,” which empowers them to carry out Jesus’ command to be his witness is studied. This commentary takes the position that Acts can indeed “teach theology” and renders exegetical and theological justification for Acts’ place in Pentecostal theology.
